Gone are the weekly photo shoots of my baby in a cute outfit propped up on the couch, I now have a fully mobile wild child on my hands. By the time I turn my real camera on she’s halfway out the door, or halfway in the toilet, or throwing her lunch on the floor. My best shot is going to be the shot I actually get, and for the most part that shot is on my phone. Sound familiar? Here are some suggestions for taking your best pictures on the move.
Get Low
Gemma’s world is 2 feet high, get down and shoot at your toddlers eye level.
Shoot From Behind
Are you chasing your toddler all day long? Get a shot from behind.
Favorite Toys and Games
What do they love? Be ready to catch their joy when they’re playing with their favorites. We have a ball blowing toy that Gemma likes to use as a supermodel wind machine.
Peek-A-Boo
A toddler classic, peek-a-boo never gets old. Truly never.
First Times
Oh the JOY – first christmas and her first snow storm.
Wipe Out
Nothing beats the calm after the storm, make sure you take advantage of the inevitable wipe out!
